Arcesium Integrates Additional MarketAxess Data and Analytics to Enhance Fixed Income Workflows

Arcesium, a leading global financial technology provider to the investment industry, today announced an integration with MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: MKTX), a leading electronic trading platform for fixed income securities, to provide investment firms with seamless data solutions across the fixed income trade lifecycle. With the integration of MarketAxess CP+™ and TraX® market data into Arcesium’s Aquata® and Opterra® platforms, hedge funds, institutional asset managers and capital markets firms can now connect front-to-back workflows and improve data accuracy across investment and operational processes.

The integration with Arcesium’s platforms enables mutual clients to embed MarketAxess’ pricing, liquidity and transaction data directly into their fixed income operational workflows. MarketAxess CP+ is an AI-powered algorithmic pricing engine for global credit and rates markets. MarketAxess TraX, provides daily trade volumes and transactional data for more than 42,000 global fixed income instruments. Together, these datasets provide the market context needed for more efficient liquidity analysis, price discovery, relative value assessment and risk analytics, without custom integration efforts.

Alex Dobson, SVP and Head of Product at Arcesium, added, “Fixed income markets can be dynamic, one market movement can have a ripple effect across portfolios. Having more data is only valuable if firms can lean on market intelligence and operational context across one view in order to make better decisions. Our integration with MarketAxess provides fixed income teams rich market data and clean operational data in one place, allowing firms to act on pricing and liquidity signals within their core operating environment.”

Ena Gordon, Head of Data & Analytics Product, at MarketAxess, said: “As fixed income markets grow more complex, investors need trusted data and purpose-built tools to operate at scale. By integrating our proprietary data with Arcesium’s platforms, clients can gain a reliable source of truth for fixed income trading and operations.”

Arcesium has also integrated with MarketAxess Repo Match since June 2024. Through the integration, Arcesium submits Opterra clients’ repo trades directly to Repo Match for trade-date matching against counterparty confirmations, including lifecycle events such as re-rates and close-outs. This enhances efficiency in the repo market by supporting straight through processing, earlier exception resolution and automated books and records updates. Repo Match connects 127 buy-side and sell-side firms, with over US$700 billion in matched average daily volume.

Opterra is a full cloud-native operating platform designed to connect front-, middle-, and back-office capabilities within a single architecture, bringing precision to all workflows across the entire investment lifecycle – from position management and reporting to accounting to treasury and reconciliation. It is tailored to fit the unique operating environments of hedge funds, asset managers, private market funds, and capital markets firms.

Aquata is a self-service data platform purpose-built for the investment industry, featuring pre-configured connectivity with data providers, as well as industry-specific data models, lineage, quality, transformation, and reporting tools. Arcesium Intelligence, embedded in Opterra and Aquata, is designed to empower firms to deploy agentic AI across investment operations and data management workflows.
