Veritas Communities was joined by City of Anna officials and the Anna Economic Development Corporation to mark the start of construction. The community will feature homes set among mature trees and natural topography, anchored by a large pond and surrounded by resort-style amenities and open space. Select homesites will border the adjacent Hurricane Creek Country Club golf course, offering expansive golf-course views.

Construction is underway in two of Liberty Hills’ residential neighborhoods with six homebuilders participating in the community’s initial phases:
- The Preserve at Liberty Hills will include 991 single-family homes by William Ryan Homes, David Weekley Homes and Sandlin Homes. Planned amenities include a climate-controlled amenity center with event space, an outdoor pavilion and open-air kitchen, a resort-style pool, playground, recreation lawns, a putting green, a fishing pier, community trails, and an overlook deck with a fireplace and views of the pond. Trails and pocket parks are expected to begin opening in summer 2027, with the amenity center anticipated to open in early 2028. Home sales in The Preserve are expected to begin in early 2027.
- The Greens at Liberty Hills will include 451 single-family homes by Grand Homes, Perry Homes and Shaddock Homes. Its planned amenities include a covered outdoor pavilion with a dual-sided fireplace, an open-air kitchen and grill stations, a resort-style pool, cabanas, a playground and recreation lawns. Home sales in The Greens are expected to begin in late 2027.
Across Liberty Hills, amenities, open spaces and preserved native areas will span 217 acres, with a community trail system connecting residents to recreational areas throughout the development. The community is also located near the private Hurricane Creek Country Club, where residents can purchase memberships for access to golf, dining and other club amenities minutes from home.
Single-family homes at Liberty Hills will range from approximately 1,800 to 4,000 square feet, with anticipated pricing from the $400,000s to $1 million.
Beyond its residential neighborhoods, Liberty Hills will include a mix of shopping, grocery and dining options near the community’s entrance at the northwest corner of U.S. Highway 75 and Rosamond Parkway. The commercial area will be anchored by Sprouts Farmers Market and will include an additional 30,000 square feet of leasable retail space, with construction anticipated to begin in December 2026, according to an announcement from the City of Anna. Residents of Liberty Hills will also have easy access to the future Rosamond Corners development on the east side of U.S. Highway 75, anchored by Kroger Marketplace.

Veritas Communities is investing $50M in infrastructure and amenities for the community. Current infrastructure improvement projects include:
- Approximately 2.5 miles of roadway improvements, including Mantua Parkway on the west side of U.S. Highway 75. Anticipated to be completed by mid-2027, Mantua Parkway will serve as a major east-west thoroughfare improving regional mobility.
- The first segment of Standridge Boulevard, from Rosamond Parkway to the northern boundary of The Greens. This is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2027.
